I was deeply saddened to hear of Evelyn's passing and feel a great loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Franklin Lakes Methodist Church and Evelyn was a big part of that. From her beautiful rendition of "O Holy Night" on Christmas Eve to the Frantic Follies and the Choir - it was very special to be able to share those moments with her and her family. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

We are saddened by the loss of a lovely, beautiful lady who brought so much joy into the lives of so many people with her gift of song. She gave all of us at Franklin Lakes Methodist Church many uplifting moments in worship and also in the variety shows, and of course with the Roy Meyers Singers. She will be greatly missed, but how very blessed we all are for having known her and having had the chance to share her music. May God grant you peace as you mourn your loss, but be blessed by the millions of memories that you have shared with her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My fondest memories of growing up at Franklin Lakes United Methodist were of when Evelyn would sing, whether it be in the Frantic Follies or "Oh Holy Night" on Christmas Eve. She had the voice of an angel. I know in my heart she will continue to sing as she watches over us all from heaven. Heaven has received a beautiful angel. My thoughts and prayers go out to Evelyn's family. Gwen(Kishpaugh)Van Heest Virginia Beach, VA.

Dear Uncle Roy, Elyn, Janice and Dale, I will always remember all the wonderful times we all spent together with Aunt Evie. Many of the wonderful things she did in her everyday life have always stayed with me. I will always think of her when I see a bird or always think to make a casserole or bake a cake when someone is sick. She was the best. She will forever live on in our hearts. Love, Kris, Jack, Chris and Bryan
