Obituary of Eugene Fenn

Eugene H. Fenn died on Monday, August 12, 2013. He was 83. Born in Hackensack, he was a long time resident of New York City and maintained a residence in Franklin Lakes. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Second Lieutenant during the Korean War. Mr. Fenn graduated from Bowling Green University in Ohio, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in marketing and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was the President of Fenn & Fenn, Inc., Lithographers, in New York City, which was established in 1917 by his father and uncle. Eugene retired from the company in 2011. He was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club and the NY Athletic Club. Survivors include his three daughters: Kathleen McBryde and her husband Kenneth, Nancy Fenn, Ellen Rickenberg and her husband Curt. Wife: Thelma Fenn; Four grandchildren: James, Robert, Kaitlyn and Megan; Five great grandchildren: Catherine, Julianna, Rebecca, Aiden and Connor. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 AM at St. Luke's Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Hohokus. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
