I've known Gene Fenn since the mid 70's while working in the Advertising Dept. at The Dreyfus Corporation.
Above all, Gene was always a generous, well dressed, soft spoken gentlemen who forever had a twinkle in his eye and a smile with an encouraging word. All who knew him will never forget Gene.

I had the pleasure of knowing Gene Fenn for over 25 years. I worked at the Dreyfus Corporation and he was one of our favorite print vendors. He was one of the sweetest and kindest men I have ever known. I enjoyed working with Gene and all the guys at GTI... He used to come up to the office with bags full of hot muffins and bagels... We were like a family back then and enjoyed each others company and went to weddings and parties together... I remember when I lost my brother on September 11th and Gene was always there to keep my spirits up.... Gene & I used to enjoy a perfect manhattan during the holidays... The last time I saw Gene was at the Saint Patricks Day Parade in 2011 and we stood in front of Saint Patricks Cathedral and enjoyed the parade. I will miss you Gene Fenn and will always remember the twinkle in your eyes and your smile. May you rest in peace. My love and prayers are with the Fenn Family. Love, Mary Jane Edgar

Gene's printing company did quite a bit of work for us (Dreyfus)..We all en joyed doing business with him and his crew..We all used to enjoy going to lunch with Gene - we used to actually talk business now and then..Years after much of this business stopped, Gene still stayed in contact with all of us. He was the ultimate gentleman..He had very good season's tickets to the NY Yankees and would often invite one or more of us to games..One night I met him at the Stadium along with my son, Paul.. I think it was a World Series game. He couldn't have been nicer and more attentive to my son. These were good seats and close to the field. I felt so lucky to be seeing this game from his seats..There was a sharply-hit foul line drive hit right at us and the three of us did what others found funny.. We all DUCKED for cover as this screaming line drive just missed our heads..A guy behind us got the ball after it bounced off his chest..I think the next time we went to a game we brought a glove...
