Obituary of Josephine Palladino

Palladino, Josephine, age 95, of Wyckoff died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at her residence. Josephine was born in Paterson, NJ and had been a long time resident of Wyckoff where she was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church, having been involved in the Rosary Society and the Bereavement Committee. She is a former parishioner of St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson where she was also involved in the Rosary Society and a member of the Third Order of St. Frances. Josephine is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Joseph of Wyckoff and her devoted and caring daughters; Mimi Gioia of Wyckoff, Diane Palladino of East Kingston, NH, Joan Andriani and her husband, Ronald of Franklin Lakes, and Anne Ames and her husband, Roland of Wyckoff and her 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 beginning with prayers at the Funeral Home at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Services will conclude with the entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in her memory to Hospice of Hackensack University Medical Center, 25 East Salem St., Hackensack, NJ 07601 or Alzheimer's Association, www.Alz.org, P.O.
