Obituary of Jeffrey P Megargee

Jeffrey Paul Megargee was born on April 16, 1953 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He passed peacefully at home while surrounded by family on April 1, 2020. He had a deceased sister, Lynda S. Megargee, and is survived by his older brother, John A. Megargee, who was Jeff's best friend until the end. Jeff was married to the love of his life, Linda Brandenburg Megargee for 42 wonderful years. They were high school sweethearts at Glen Rock High School. Jeff graduated from Glen Rock High School in 1971. He received an associates degree from Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey in Speech and Communications. He was an active member of the debate team and the Judo club. He then went to Rutgers University in Newark, NJ where he completed three years with a double major of Business and Economics. He leaves behind his two beautiful and devoted daughters, Jamie Lynn and Kristen Noel, three sister-in-laws Cheryl Piccoli, Barbara Pink, Joanne Megargee, and their husbands. His nieces and nephews he loved dearly and great nieces and great nephews that brought so much joy to his life. Jeff loved his friends and family with all of his heart. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Piper, who has been by his side since the first moment she came home. Jeff's passion was investing in real estate, and he had been a very caring landlord to many families. His favorite spot to visit was in Cape Cod, MA with his family.
