I am so sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather, friend and colleague.
Rudy wore many hats and touched many lives. I met him at the Barn and also saw him at my Charismatic Prayer Group in Our Lady of Good Counsel.
He certainly will be missed. I'm sure that his legacy will be continued by his friends and colleagues.
May you rest in peace, Rudy, until we meet again! God bless you and all of the souls whom you have touched!
In sympathy,
Joan M. Ferrara Millar

I am Rudy's neighbor to the left of his house. I just found out today of Rudy's passing and it saddens me. I would clear out his driveway in the winter and he would always bring over a couple of bottles of wine for his gratitude. He was very gracious and I was always happy to help him. He was a quite neighbor, but, I was happy to have known him. Please accept our condolences, myself and wife Rita.

Rudy was a dear friend that I admired greatly. He used his considerable talent for the Lord and for the benefit of all who were fortunate enough to know him. As mentioned, his almost continual warm smile warmed everybody! We all have been brought a little closer to the Lord, from Rudy's presence and his many efforts He will never be forgotten.
Harvey.

Rudy and I went to grammar school and high school (Lodi High) together and along with Charlie Kern spent a lot of time together as best friends before and during our first "girl dating" years. We went our separate ways after that, me moving to the midwest. I saw Rudy again for a day in 2010 at the home of Charlie & Marlene Kern in southern Jersey. Other that the ravages of the years he hadn't changed at all from the good guy he was in his youth. He will be sadly missed as will the "old folks" cartoons he frequently e-mailed me for years. He will be remembered.

Although I knew RUDY for only three short years, I will always remember his warm smile and unpretentious way. I was blessed to work with RUDY at a Rescue Mission in Newark, NJ where we served lunch/diner to those less fortunate. RUDY, in his quiet way, arranged for volunteers and dates needed. He planned and orchestrated this, in his humble fashion, as he did with the Christian Singles Group he ran each month with such perfection for 20 years. RUDY was a true gentleman, an inspiration to us all. I’m sure God holds a special place in heaven for such an angel. Rest in peace RUDY!

My husband and I want to extend our sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Dad.
Working with Rudy for many of the years he worked with the Christian Singles was a very rewarding time of my life, which I did until I remarried. He was a great person to work with, very kind and always thinking of others first. Everything was done is a very Christian manner. Whether writing and putting newsletters together or planning, setting up and cleaning up at the potluck dinners, or picnics, it was a joy to have had the opportunity to have known him. I was very saddened when hearing that he is no longer with us. Although it’s been quite a while since I’ve been part of the singles’ group, I’ll never forgot all that he did to help so many people, especially those that were hurting. He will be surely be missed.
May God comfort you and your family in your loss and bring you peace.

Rudy, dear brother, can you really be gone from us? No, not when I remember those countless smiles and that steadfast spirit leading the singles' group every month. I always appreciated your strength and vision for others. What a blessing you were to so many! Only the LORD knows how many you touched...encouraged...inspired. I know I will see you again Friend, but until then I will miss you. The LORD bless your family.

It would be hard for me to imagine my life without Rudy and his ministry to us singles. He gave me a place to go where everybody new my name. And if not, they soon would...
He had a huge heart. Among many things not many know, he would rarely miss any outing we had to sing or bring joy at the nursing homes and mental institutions Such a heart for the misfortunate ones. His "singles" group was another great example.
There's a great hollow in many hearts at the loss of this man. I hope it's eventually filled by memories of his gentle loving ways...
Hey Rudy! Please don't forget us! Keep blessing us, even from Heaven!
Forever your friend, in Christ Jesus!
