I am so sorry to hear of Red’s passing. He was a wonderful human being. I loved his sense of humor. I met him at the gym. He will be missed. I will keep him and his family in my prayers. Rest In Peace my friend. I know you are with God.

We knew Red through our common interest in Youth athletics. He was a true gentleman and always a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace, Red.

Blessed to have met precious Red, my Father’s full brother, on November 13, 2017. That was the one and only time that I got to hug his neck. Oh, how I cherish that afternoon. What a thrill it was to just be in his and Ronnie’s presence as they tried to catch me up on their lives. He was a part of my heart that I had missed for 61 years. So grateful to have had that opportunity to love on him.

Joan and I are so sad by Red’s passing. I have known Red from our days at the gym 4-5 days a week. Ronnie and Red attended our daughter’s wedding on Martha’s Vineyard, a special treat for us. His positive attitude, love for life, regaling us with his many funny stories, his cherishing his Sunday dinners with the family will be with us forever.
All I can say is that Red and Ronnie were special. Red gave us a picture that Ronnie painted that we proudly hang in our home.
Unfortunately we are taking our granddaughters to Lincoln Center tomorrow to see the Nutcracker and cannot attend the wake. Please give our love to Ronnie!
Red is in heaven smiling on us and waiting for the live of his life.
Best
Ed and Joan Doherty
