Obituary of Joan J. Martini

Martini, Joan J. (Talerico) age 79 of Wyckoff, peacefully passed with family at her side on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Born in Passaic, NJ, she lived in Clifton before moving to Wyckoff in 1971. Joan, a graduate of West Orange High School, earned an Associate’s Degree from Berkeley College and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. An avid card player of Mahjong & Canasta, Joan was an active parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff (NJ), member of the Rosary-Altar Society, committee leader at both Spring Meadow Adult Community (Wyckoff, NJ) & The Bluffs Marina (Jupiter, FL) and a founding member of The Wyckoff Newcomer’s Association. Surviving Joan is her loving husband, Michael P. Martini of Wyckoff, her two sons, Michael Martini (and his wife Noelle) of Mahwah and P. Mark Martini (and his wife Kathryn) of Westfield. Also surviving are Joan’s nine (9) grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, Caroline, Philip, Sophia, Ali, Nina, Nicholas and Pippa, and her sisters, Dorothy Esoldi and Nancy Calise. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11 am at St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
