We wanted to send our love on behalf of my entire family. We wanted to send you all of our deepest sympathy. Joan was and always will be a very beautiful spirit! We have such fond memories of your family. So many memories! We will never forget our times together in Cleveland. Two Italian, Jersey families brought together by fate! The fun filled train ride from Cleveland to New Jersey.. we never laughed so hard! We know there was no more beautiful sound than her laughter. The two Joan's were more a "sisterhood" than just a friendship. Please know the love she had and always showed will be present in all she touched. Give each other hugs, as We know she would be part of everyone one. Peace to you all. God Bless.

The world lost a very special lady on March 23, 2017. Joan Martini was a woman of integrity, beauty and grace. She loved unconditionally...she was an incredible wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and I feel so incredibly blessed to have had a special relationship with her. She listened like no other and showed compassion for all around her. Joanie lived selflessly. She loved to laugh and truly lived life to the fullest!! Whether singing to "Sweet Caroline" or spending time in the sun (only Joanie could use baby oil all her life and have the nicest skin of anyone I knew!), or shopping (and returning), or spraying her favorite Aquanet on her beautiful hair, she always had a smile that would light up a room! Joanie would hold your hand and you knew 'everything would be ok.' She had a soothing effect on people and yet was such a strong force in a way that was so uniquely Joanie. I loved her so much and will miss her everyday but feel so blessed by so many special memories that will always make me smile. To Michael and Mark...there could be no greater privilege than to have called her 'mom'...she loved you guys beyond words... to Aunt Dot and Aunt Nancy...you truly were the Golden Girls...not only sisters but the best of friends...And to her beloved husband, "Mr.M", may you know your loyalty was second to none and the relationship you shared is something I have admired, respected and hold out as one of the best love stories of all time. I am so sorry I cannot be there to celebrate the life of this amazing lady on Saturday but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With love and the deepest sympathy,
Kim

To Joan's wonderful family we send our most heartfelt condolences. There are no words to tell you the love we have for Joan and all of you. We are given our family but friends like Joan and Mike are a rare commodity and hold a very special place in our hearts. The wonderful memories we have of our trips and all the laughter we shared can never be replaced or forgotten. Joanie was Frank's perfect "fall guy." She always laughed with him and made us all laugh with her. We will truly miss that laughter.
God be with her and all of you as you go this very difficult time. We were blessed to have her in our lives.
With love and deepest sympathy,
Frank and Phyllis Ferrante
