We will honor the memory of Mrs. Ellis for the exemplary person she was all her life. A wonderful neighbor for 60 years, a remarkable mother dedicated wholeheartedly to her husband and children, she inspired a generation of young couples during the turbulent 60s and 70s.
We of the Chenette Family could not have had a more discreet, solid role model. Mrs. Ellis was selfless and sincere.
We offer prayers for her peaceful voyage to her new resting place. To the Ellis children, we are deeply saddened and so sorry for the loss of your mother. God bless you.

I will forever be grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Ellis for always welcoming me in their home, correcting me when I deserved it, and consoling me when I lost my youngest son. Mrs. Ellis found the humor in everything, and had the best laugh which, thankfully, is ingrained in my memory. We always looked forward to visiting her because her mind was sharp and witty to the end. She lived out her long life surrounded by the love of all the family which clearly brought her joy every single day. We will all miss her.
With love and sympathy,
Michelle x
