I knew Tony when he worked at MTD. He was our representative, as my company was headquartered in New England (Tony's Territory). When we would go to Vegas for SEMA week, we always went with Tony one night to dinner. I remember taking him to one of our favorite Italian restaurants that was way off the strip, where the "real" people live. We always enjoyed each others company. Tony was a first class gentlemen. I remember him telling stories of how he loved to cook and if I remember correctly.. walking his dog. He was a very outgoing person. When he retired at the turn of the century.... MTD lost a great employee and now the world has lost a great man. Rest in peace my friend. Wayne Croswell Past President Tire Industry Association

Dear Anne: We were very sorry to learn of Tony's passing. We knew Tony in the 80's and early 90's when we lived in Ridgewood and worked in the tire industry. Tony was a great guy and we are sure you will all miss him very much. We hope you enjoyed your retirement years together. Eleanor and I have fond memories of having several dinners with you and Tony, Italian of course. We moved to Ohio in 1987 and then left the tire industry in 1994 when we moved to Columbus, Ohio. Sincerely, Bob and Eleanor Horbatt
