Obituary of Robert Fenners

FENNERS, Robert Vreeland age 76, died peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2007 surrounded by his family at home in Midland Park. Bob was born in Paterson on May 23, 1931, he lived in Paterson until moving to Midland Park 46 years ago. Bob was a Safety Supervisor for Allied Van Lines in Broadview, IL for 25 years before his retirement in 1977. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army, was a member of the Midland Park-Wyckoff V.F.W.Post 7086, and the Masonic Lodge 287 F & AM in Wyckoff. Bob loved his community and was a member of the Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. Surviving is his loving wife Anna (nee DeNoble), his devoted children, Debra Ann and her husband Joel Rausch of Glen Rock, Darlene Ellen Melton of Kernersville, NC, and Robert William Fenners and his wife Donna of Waldwick. Bob also leaves his adoring grandchildren Steven, Joshua, Lauren, Kristen, Rebecca, and Kathlyn, and his brothers, William C. of Oakland, and George H. of Wyckoff. Bob was pre-deceased by his brothers Raymond and Alfred. A memorial service will be held Saturday 9:30am at the Faith Reformed Church, 95 Prospect Street, Midland Park.
