My utmost sincere condolences to Susan, Dan, Valerie and Ralph. Mr. DeRose was an unique individual. Since coming to work for Major Products 20 years ago I have had the privilege to learn from the best in this industry. He wholeheartly supported me and my family through my illness with his humor and advice. He is probably doing in heaven what he does best, buying ingredients and making deals. I will always remember Mr. DeRose with much love and affection.

Joe and I will miss Mr. DeRose terribly.
Mr. DeRose was a wonderful boss and advisor.
I loved hearing his stories of the early days when he was on the road and the interesting people he met along the way, and some of the more tame experiences he encountered.
He will be in our hearts and prayers always.
Love
Tish and Joe Scocozzo

Dear Mrs. DeRose, Dan, Jr., Valerie, Ralph and the extended DeRose Family. Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Danny spoke often about his family and cherised every moment with you. I remember on one occasion that he spoke of having his children at a later stage in his life and how he treasured the time he spent taking care of his Dan, Jr. and Valerie. He loved you all so very much. His work was another one of his loves. He was a mentor and an inspiration to me. His dedication to his family and work was one I have not seen before and I was very lucky to have had the pleasure of working with. Though your hearts are broken the memories I am sure will be everlasting. Larry, Kim and Gabrielle Avesian

To Daniel, Valerie,Susan and Ralph and the entire DeRose family---I have known JR for 40 plus years. At first we were business associates but over the years we became life long friends. We were always there for each other. I am devastated by his sudden passing. He will be missed by all. His family came first and his love of his business next. He was so happy that Daniel and Valerie came into the business. The business was the engine that drove him everyday. His energy and drive was unbelieveable. May his life be an inspiration to all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this trying time.

Susan, Dan, Devon, Valerie and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Dan was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He placed great importance on family above all as you could see by his devotion to you - his wife, children, granddaughter, siblings, nieces and nephews. Dan was a wonderful example of how to live your life. He was a self made man, having started his company many years ago. He loved his work, in fact to him it wasn't work, but fun. The fact that he continued to derive such pleasure from his work is something that you do not see very often these days. It was inspirational. He will be missed by many.
