We will certainly miss Uncle Al. Most of all waiting for him to start us laughing with all the funny jokes he collected from the last time we got together. I would always sit opposite Uncle Al at the dinners at mom's house and we would just wait.... and then he would start and we would laugh and laugh. Glad we saw him at Mom's surprise birthday party. It was only January and he looked great and was enthusiastically telling us all about his hiking adventures. I seem to recall he bought new hiking boots and learned the hard way not to wear them on a hike until they were broken in. I seem to recall that Monday was a nice spring day for a hike....
