Obituary of Edward Enright

ENRIGHT, Edward J. "Pop Pop" age 74 of Franklin Lakes died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 22, 2009. Ed was born in the Bronx, NY on September 3, 1934 and raised his family in Ramsey. He was a Stock Broker with both Dean Witter and Beacon Hill before ending his financial career in the late 80's. Ed continued partime work at the PathMark in Ramsey. He served his country during the Korean conflict in the United States Navy. Ed was an avid Yankee Fan and enjoyed cooking and entertaining for his family, his grandchildren were the highlight of his life. Surviving are his loving daughters, Kathleen and her husband Edward Gostissa of Franklin Lakes, Eileen Enright of Suffern, NY and Jennifer and her husband Max Aronov of Warwick, NY. Ed also leaves his adoring grandchildren, Bryan, Eric, Jessica, Jacklyn, Christy, Brandy, Eddy, Josey, Ashley and Ryan, his siblings, Joseph and Ingrid Enright, Patricia and Michael Becker, Joanne and Andrew Nelson and Barbara and Joseph Dolan. Ed also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 37 years, Josephine (nee Prenter) in 1994. He was also pre-deceased by his sister and brother-in-law Irene and Jimmy Burns. The family will receive friends on Friday 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. A memorial mass will be held Saturday 10:00 am at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey, NJ.
