Obituary of Francis O'Shea

O'SHEA Francis W., 71, of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Friday, May 2, 2014. Francis was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, he emigrated to the United States in 1965 and lived in Waldwick before moving to Ho-Ho-Kus 32 years ago. Francis served in the US Air Force from 1966 until 1969 during the Vietnam War. He was an owner and partner of A & F Auto Body in Rochelle Park. He was also a member of the Gaelic Golf Club and the Bergen Irish Association. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth; his children: Theresa (John) Amstutz of Flower Mound, TX, Erin (Michael) Oakes of Midland Park, Francis (Meghan) O'Shea of Midland Park and Tara (Chad) Walker of Midland Park; and 9 grandchildren: Andrew, Kayla, Kasey, Kyle, Ryan, Braden, Shane, Karley, and Jack. He is also survived by his 8 Siblings: John, Mary, Eleanor, James, Gerard, Anne, Imelda, and Dermot, their husbands and wives and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Eileen O'Shea and his step-father John Cantwell. Visiting hours Monday, May 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Tuesday, May 6th, 10am at St. Luke's RC Church, 340 North Franklin Tpke., Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Interment at St. Luke's Cemetery, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.
