Served with Frank in the U S Air Force and consider him a good friend. Happened to be looking into past friends on the internet and ran across this obituary. I am truly sorry to see his passing. I have a photo of Frank from one of our TDY tours if anyone is interested.

I came from Ireland in 1985 and wound up working for Frank for two years, I learned a lot of things from Frank, integrity and respect just being a couple of them, frank took a chance on me when a few other repair shops in the area wouldn't, 19 years old no tools and working on cars that were totally different from what I was use to in Ireland, I will never forget you for that Frank, he told me I could use his tool box until I saved some money to get my own, and on top of that he would throw me a couple of extra dollars every week, A true Gentleman! My deepest sympathies to franks family,
John Murnane

Years ago I was playing in an Inter-club event with the Gaelic Golf Club against another Club in Forest Hills in Queens . The other club had gone out ahead of the match and moved the Ladies Tee markers back to the mens tees. I was in the four-ball with Frank. He assured me not to heed the "act "but to do the best I could under their "rules" and not to stoop to their level. We won the match that day by a large margen and went on to win out the Inter-club that year. Franks leadership, integrity, and "fairness"was remarkable and has inspired many others also. Rest in peace in your Heavenly-Golf Course. Bless Betty and your family. from Bernadette Linnane (Junior Golf Coach -The First Tee N.Y.)

Mr. O'Shea was one of a kind. I will always have tremendous respect for Mr. and Mrs. O'Shea. I practically lived their house throughout my high school years....and then some after. I loved Mr.O'Shea as if he was my own father. He always appeared to be so tough and intimidating....yet he really was the most cuddly kind hearted man ever. He was even tolerant of my exotic chubby tree frog who I lovingly named Frank! I would occasionally bring Frank the Frog over to meet his namesake......I really think he secretly loved it.
Mrs. O'Shea, Theresa, Erin, Fran, and my best friend Tara, I love you all sooooo much. I will smile every time I think of your father/husband!!! I love you all :)
