Obituary of Timothy Cronin

CRONIN Timothy V., age 73, on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Born in the Bronx, NY, Tim and his family were residents of Waldwick for over thirty years before moving to Forked River, NJ in 1999. Before retiring, Mr. Cronin was a materials manager with Anadigics, Inc. of Warren. He was a parishioner of St. Barnabas R.C. Church of Bayville and a former parishioner of The Church of the Presentation of Upper Saddle River and St. Luke's R.C. Church of HoHoKus. Tim served his country in the United States Navy. Surviving are his beloved wife Janet to whom he was married for 53 wonderful years, his seven children: Bernadette Cronin of Forked River, Theresa Carbone of New Milford, Jennifer Fazio of Montreal, Canada, Robert Cronin of Stokes, England, Patrick Cronin of Haddonfield, NJ, Stephen Cronin of Doylestown, PA and Timothy of Phillipsburg, NJ; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his brother Vincent Cronin of Columbus, OH, and his sisters Bridget Hoffer of Jonestown, PA and Loretta Rypinski of Topeka, KS. Tim was predeceased by his son Jeffrey Cronin and his sisters Frances Radosti and Mary Taylor. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 5-8 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Prayers, Friday, 10 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass, 11 AM at The Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, would be appreciated.
