Obituary of Mary Ethel Giaquinto

Giaquinto, Mary Ethel (nee Wieland) age 92 of Sussex, died Wednesday, Feb 5, 2014. Born in Newark she lived in Midland Park before moving to Sussex in 1981. Mary was a WW II Army nurse. Before her retirement she was a registered nurse for the South Orangetown Central School District, Blauvelt, NY. She was a parishioner of Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Branchville, NJ. Mary was a volunteer for the Wantage Township Municipal Offices and the Sussex Group Home for Handicapped Adults. Surviving are her Step- children, Rosemary Johns of Wyckoff, Jeffrey M. Johns of Wyckoff, and Richard Peake of Sarasota, Florida. Also surviving are her Step- granddaughter, Jennifer Santos of Los Angeles, CA and Step-grandson, Nicholas Johns of Wyckoff. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Giaquinto in April 1997 and her step-daughter, Patricia Peake in August 2011. Visiting, Tuesday 10-11am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ followed by the Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment Christ the King Cemetery. Franklin Lakes, NJ.
