Obituary of Marilyn Elting

Marilyn Elting died on Saturday, January 25, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was 87. Born in Hackensack she was a resident of Rochelle Park and Clearwater, Florida before moving to Midland Park. Before retiring in 1999, Marilyn was employed at JC Penny's in Paramus. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Maywood. Her husband Wilbur G. Elting died in 1996. Survivors include her daughter Dawn L. Frankl and her husband Andy, two sisters; Norma Kohm and Carol Fichter, and three grandchildren Jessica Frankl, David Frankl and Arianna Frankl, and a niece Susan Kohm. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
