Mc VEETY, Joyce (nee Rock), died Tuesday, January 7, 2014. She was a Vice Principal at Our Lady of Victory H.S., Dobbs Ferry. Joyce is survived by her loving husband, four sons and their families and a sister. Visiting hours, Friday, 1:00-4:00, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Prayers, Saturday, 8:00 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's memory may be made to Sisters of Mercy, 150 Ridge Rd., Hartsdale, NY 10530 or Meals on Wheels.
