Obituary of Joan Forbes

FORBES, M. Joan of Wyckoff, died Tuesday July 24, 2007. Joan was born in Paterson on January 14, 1926 and lived most of her life in Wyckoff. Joan was a School teacher at Washington School in Wyckoff. She is survived by her brother Paul M. Forbes and his wife Fonce of Morris Plains, her sister Nancy and her husband William Braithwaite of Nassau, Bahamas, her sister-in-law Patricia Forbes of Upper Montclair and her sister-in-law Joan D. Forbes of Paterson. Also surviving are 15 nieces and nephews; Kevin P. Forbes, Kathleen Swearer, LeeAnne Forbes-Doust, Allison Sidow, Sarah Moran, William F. Forbes Jr., MaryAnn Harris, Mary Catherine Braithwaite, Thomas Braithwaite, William F. Braithwaite, Mark M. Braithwaite, Andrew M. Braithwaite, P. Kim Kramer, L. Kip Kramer III, and P. Kelly Kramer. She is predeceased by her brothers Cyril P. Forbes Jr., William F. Forbes, and Donald Forbes and her sister Mary Ellen Kramer. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral mass will follow 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting is Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
