Obituary of Mabel Struss

STRUSS, Mabel Alice (nee Gordon ) age 89, of Tarpon Springs, Florida went Home to be with her Lord,on Saturday, March 1, 2008. Born in Clifton, she lived in Elmwood Park and Hawthorne before moving to Florida two years ago. Mabel was a member of Bethany Church for 77 years and was involved in the Ladies Prayer Group, the Care Group and the Life Group. She is survived by her sons, David and his wife Ruth Ann of Franklin Lakes, John and his wife Carol of Hawthorne, and her daughter, Lois and her husband Allan Babcock of New Port Richie, FL. Also surviving are her five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John Struss in 1991 and her sisters, Bertha Gordon and Mildred Peer. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Service, 9:30 a.m. Monday at Bethany Church, 568 Wellington Drive, Wyckoff, NJ.
