Obituary of Frank C. Leskauskas

Leskauskas, Frank (Francis) Casimir, Jr., born on January 5, 1933 in Scranton, PA, son of Frank C. Leskauskas, Sr. and Julia A. Leskauskas, died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 24, 2013, in the loving presence of his wife of 51 years, Virginia and four devoted sons. Frank made his home in Wyckoff, NJ for over four decades. The first of his family to attend college, Frank received a B.S.E.E. from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA in 1956. He continued his studies at The Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Frank was a National Accounts Manager for IBM, charged with high-profile accounts including The Boeing Company. After retiring from I.B.M. Frank served as a consultant for Sales Performance International. Additionally, Frank partnered with his wife in Real Estate Sales. A U.S. Army veteran based out of Orleans, France, Frank dutifully served our country during peacetime. As a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church in Wyckoff, Frank embodied the principles of a true servant-leader; he was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister and served on the Liturgy Committee and Parish Council. Frank is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginny" (nee Ryan), his devoted sons Frank (Gerianne), David (Sandra), Edward (Diana), and Christopher (Tracy). His 13 grandchildren: Charlene, Theresa, Marie, Julianne, Grace, David, John, Virginia, Edward, Ryan, Luke, Audrey and Ben, and a great grandson, Frank, also survive him. Frank was predeceased by his daughter, Julianne Marie Leskauskas in 1984, a granddaughter, Katherine Ryan in 2002, and his brother, Edward R. Leskauskas. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 21-00 Route 208, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
