Obituary of James Lowry

LOWRY, James Patrick, Jr. "Jim" age 71, of Wyckoff, died on Friday, October 18, 2013. Born in Englewood, he grew up in Palisades Park and lived in Wyckoff since 1989. Jim served in the US Army working at Brookhaven Labs on the Apollo Moon Project. He was a Systems Analyst for MetLife for 40 years until he retired. Jim loved the NY Giants, reading murder mysteries, summers by the pool and his girls. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, his daughters Elizabeth Lowry of San Francisco, CA and Eileen Lowry of Scarsdale, NY and his three siblings Patricia Maadi, Kathleen Sirois and Peter Lowry. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral mass is Tuesday, 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Burial will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
