Mrs. Schafer was my English teacher at Ramapo in 1970. Teachers impact our lives more than we realize at the time. Over the years, I've thought about her. She had a sweetness about her that comforted the tumultuous teen age years. I remember one time how she commented on my "beautiful, big brown eyes." Thank-you, Mrs. Shafer, for being a part of my life. My condolences to the family.
