Obituary of Pauline Massar

MASSAR, Pauline age 63 of Oradell, died peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013. Born in Paterson, Pauline lived in Fair Lawn and Midland Park before moving to Oradell 35 years ago. She devoted herself to her job as Guidance Secretary at the New Milford High School for the past 15 years. Her many activities included coaching the Cheerleaders and a member of the PTO at St. Joseph's Elementary School in Oradell. Pauline loved to give of herself and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Surviving is her loving husband of 42 years Gary Massar, her devoted children, Christopher Massar, and Diana (Peter) Welsh all of Virginia and her sisters Judi Bonzkowski of Kinnelon and Linda (Jim) Rosa of Suffield, CT. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 AM from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass will follow 10:00 AM at St. Luke's R. C. Church, 340 Franklin Tpk., HoHoKus, with interment in the church cemetery. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
