Obituary of Kenneth Cohen

COHEN, Kenneth C., age 53, of Ridgewood, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. He was born in New Rochelle, NY and resided in several communities throughout Westchester County, NY before moving to Ridgewood, NJ 25 years ago. Ken was a Senior Vice President at Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. New York, NY. He served on the Boards of Directors of Lincoln Center Real Estate & Construction Council and New Alternatives for Children, Inc., both of New York, NY. He was also a member of The Ridgewood Country Club and enjoyed spending time with his family in Wellfleet, MA. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer (nee Young) of Ridgewood, his loving daughter and sons; Katherine Judkins and her husband Tyler of Portland, ME, Kyle Cohen and Alec Cohen, both of Ridgewood. Also surviving is his mother, Jessie (nee Wilkinson) Cohen of Rye Neck, NY, his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Michael J. Student and his nephew, Sanford, of Edgemont, NY and his brother and sister-in-law, Donald M. and Olivia Cohen of Huaraz, Peru. Ken was predeceased by his father, Frederick Cohen in 2000. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 20, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 11:00 AM at West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 South Monroe Street, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
