Obituary of Thomas Verga

Verga, Thomas M., age 45 died peacefully of natural causes on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Thomas was born in Passaic and had lived in Wyckoff before moving to Wayne in 1998. He was a self-employed videographer. Thomas is survived by his devoted parents, Anthony and Lauretta (nee Chiswell) of Wyckoff, his dear sister, brother and their spouses, Theresa and Michael Squicciarini of Flemington, NJ and John and Nancy Verga of Morris Plains, NJ and his loving nieces and nephews, Frank, Joseph, Marie and Natalie Verga and Nicholas, Michael and Daniel Squicciarini. He is also survived by his wonderful uncle, Robert Chiswell. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2:00- 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, McLean Blvd., Paterson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas' memory may be made to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
