Dennis, You were truly a good soul and it is a blessing to have known you. Thank you for the humor, some intentional, some not, all funny.

When I was told by Frank Leone that he had died, for the first time I was sad when I made an association with my old friend, Dennis Putis. I can't speak for everyone but I think it would be hard to find someone who wasn't uplifted by either thinking about or being in Dennis' company. Fun, upbeat, kind are just a few of the positive thoughts I conjure up when I think of him.
In today's world losing the likes of Dennis is something we can ill afford.
Those of us who know you will miss you.
Rest on peace Dennis, you earned it.

It is with deep sympathy that I acknowledge the passing of such a caring and beautiful person. I remember so well taking care of Dennis and Valerie's mom and even still have the picture and bracelet from her. Val, my deepest condolences to you and your family. You will always have a place in my heart.

Uncle Dennis, you took me to my first Knick game and to many Giants games through the years. You were more of a friend than an uncle, and I appreciate the laughs we shared through the years. I'm going to miss your sense of humor and the love you shared with your family. God bless...
