Obituary of Harold Dykhouse

Dykhouse, Harold died on Friday, March 22, 2013 following a brief illness. He was 81. Born in Midland Park he was a lifelong resident. Harold served in the US Army during the Korean War and was the owner of J. Dykhouse & Son in Midland Park before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church and the VFW Post #7086 both in Midland Park. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Ten Hoeve and a brother Garret J. Dykhouse. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Betty Ann Dykhouse, two daughters; Virginia Stella and her husband Warren and Susan Kozielski and her husband Robert; Three grandsons: Warren, Andrew and William. A brother Jacob Dykhouse and his wife Frances, a Brother-in-law Frank Ten Hoeve and a sister-in-law Wilma Dykhouse. Friends may visit with the Dykhouse family on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time at Olthuis Funeral Home (ofhmp.com), 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park, 07432. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fair Lawn. In lieu of flowers contributions in Harold's memory may be sent to the Midland Park Ambulance Corps., 42 Pierce Ave., Midland Park, NJ 07432 or to the Eastern Christian School, 50 Oakwood Ave., North Haledon, NJ 07508.
