Obituary of Cindy Thomas

Thomas, Cynthia L. (nee Cuba) age 52 of Rock Tavern, NY, died peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, NY. Born in Suffern, NY, Cynthia grew up in Midland Park and graduated from Midland Park High School before moving to Rock Tavern, NY in 1986. She enjoyed the raising of her 3 children and at the same time holding down a full time job. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Washingtonville, NY. Surviving is her loving husband of 27years, Michael, her children, Michael, Jr., Brandon L. and Alanah V. all of Rock Tavern, her sister Diana and her husband Bob Bachmann and her brothers Jeffrey Cuba and his wife Kathy, Allan Cuba and his wife Lisette and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 8:30 AM from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral mass will follow 9:30 AM at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ. Entombment will be in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Monday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Family, c/o Diana Bachmann.
