Obituary of Eva Wildeman

WILDEMAN, Eva M (nee McCombs) age 90, died peacefully on Monday, January 07, 2008 at the New Jersey Memorial Veterans Home in Paramus. Eva was born in Newark on March 16, 1917, and most recently lived in Crestwood Village in Whiting, NJ. Eva was the wife of the former Rev. Robert A. Wildeman for 61 years. She served along side him in his ministry and was very active in children's ministries. Surviving are her children, the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Wildeman, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Bridgeport, WV, Patricia and her husband John Weissert of Wyckoff, Elizabeth and her husband Harold Baker of Hagerstown, MD and Dr. James A. Wildeman and his wife Dr. Carol of Chattanooga, TN. Eva also leaves her brother Fred McCombs of Waretown, NJ, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, sisters and great grandson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, East Amsterdam Avenue at Ryan Road, Fair Lawn, NJ (www.graceopcfairlawn.org). Arrangements by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ (www.vpfh.com). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Choice.
