Obituary of Gerald Tanis II

TANIS, Gerald Evan II of Midland Park, died Saturday July 21, 2007. Jerry was born in Ridgewood on February 20, 1979 and lived most of his life in Midland Park. He enjoyed his life's ambition as a carpenter and was a member of the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church in Wyckoff. Surviving are his loving parents Gerald E. and Beverly (Braunius) Tanis of Midland Park, his sister Jacki Lynne and her husband Brandon Slomp of Ada, MI, and his brothers Joseph William and his wife Ashley of Sun River, OR, and Jeffrey Dale of Midland Park. Jerry also leaves his loving grandmother Gertrude Braunius of North Haledon, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church, 422 Cedar Hill Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow in the Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah. Visiting is Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. www.vpfh.com
