Obituary of Ruth Wynbeek

WYNBEEK, Ruth Ann (nee Baker) age 70 of Midland Park was surrounded by her family when she went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Midland Park. She was a member of the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church where she was a Deaconess, a Stephen Minister, a member of the Ruth Circle and served on the Newsletter Committee. Ruth volunteered at the Corner Closet and at Eastern Christian Elementary School. Ruth partnered with her husband in Midland Park Graphics, later working for Action Graphics in Lincoln Park, retiring in 2003. Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Len Wynbeek, her children, Debi and her husband Paul Braunius, Len, Jr. and his wife Kim, Karen and her husband Jim Vielee and Jim and his wife Susanne. Ruth also leaves her 8 grandchildren, Jeremy, Renee, Megan, Kyle, Madison, Jordan, Jason and Mackenzie, and her sisters, Tilda Roetman and Jan Hey. Ruth was pre-deceased by her sister, Mae Marie Boote and her brother, Maynard Baker. Interment will be in the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9:30 AM. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM at the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, 183 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ. Visiting is Thursday January 3, 2013, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Christian School Association, 50 Oakwood Avenue, North Haledon, NJ 07508.
