Obituary of Kathleen O' Connor

O'CONNOR, Kathleen M. "Kitty" (nee Begley) age 91, died peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. Kitty was born in New York City on May 16, 1916 and was a long time resident of the Bronx, NY and Wyckoff. Kitty was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church in Wyckoff where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Wyckoff Senior Citizens. Surviving are her children Edward W. and his wife Eileen of East Hampton, CT, Kathleen M. McManus of Chapin, SC, Michael E. and his wife Kay of Franklin Lakes, Kevin M. and his wife Eileen E. of Ramsey, and Brian E. and his wife Corby L. of Essex Fells. Kathleen also leaves her 19 grandchildren Ted, Bill, Kevin, Maureen and Katie; Larry, Chris, Kate and Debbie; Michael, Kathleen, Colleen and Sean; Ashley, Kevin and Erin; Tim, Brian and Colin and 15 great grandchildren. Kitty was pre-deceased by her husband Edward "Ned" O'Connor in 1990, and her son-in-law Dr. Lawrence McManus in 2001. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am, St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Visiting is Sunday 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
