Obituary of Esther Cottrell

Esther E. Cottrell, (nee Burton) age 96 of Midland Park died Thursday, December 27, 2007. Born in Ft. Lee she lived in Palisades Park before moving to Midland Park 38 years ago. Esther was a charter member of the Palisades Park Ambulance Corp. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. Surviving is her daughters, Vernon and her husband John F. Oates of Midland Park, Barbara and her husband Jack Strube of Ringwood and her son, William and his wife Jean Cottrell of Rochelle Park. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Verner in 1961. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Prayers Monday 8:45 a.m.at the Funeral Home followed a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ.
