Kenny Neumann, Jr.

Obituary of Kenny Neumann, Jr.

Kenneth Joseph Neumann Jr., passed away on July 13th, 2020 in the company of his beloved wife and children. Kenny was 65 years young. He was born in Jersey City where he spent his childhood before moving to Waldwick, NJ. During his years at Waldwick High School, he met his sweetheart, Michele. Kenny had a love for automotives and vehicles and purchased a cross-country motorcycle so Michele could ride with him. Before starting a family, Kenny and Michele wanted to travel and explore the country together. They would drive on the motorcycle to different vacations, including Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. Kenny and Michele were always together, enjoying each other’s company, and making memories along the way. Kenny had an inspiring career in the automotive industry. He was self-taught in learning all of the inner workings of a car by taking apart his fatherʼs car in the garage in Waldwick and putting it back together. Later in his career, he worked for several dealerships as a service manager acting as liaison between the mechanics in the shop and the customers. Kenny was good with people and was the face to the customer. Kenny was an inspiration working for Volkswagen of America, where his father had served as CPA, Land Rover/Range Rover, Porsche, BMW Manhattan, Audi, and many more. In his later career, he worked for CDK Global, where he would travel the country and Canada teaching various dealerships the computer programs for their operations to run more efficiently. His wisdom, positivity, and drive were admired by his daughters. He was loved for his optimism, supportive nature, and protection of his family. He enjoyed being with his family, watching car races and shows, and watching the boats while his family relaxed on the beach. But mostly he was loved for the inspiring relationship he had with his wife, the true definition of love. The values and morals he instilled in his daughters who always sought his wisdom. The loving affection he showed his grandchildren, who loved their hugs with Grandpa. The cherished conversations and quality time he spent with his son-in-law. He will be missed immensely and has touched so many people. He is survived by wife Michele of 41 years; daughters, Nicole (Liam) Brennan, Amanda, Ashley, brothers Thomas, William, sister Geraldine, grandchildren, Sophia and Emmett. He is predeceased by mother Anna, and father Kenneth Sr. A Viewing will be held at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ Friday, July 17th from 4PM - 8PM. A Mass at Church of the Nativity in Midland Park, NJ will be held Saturday at 10AM. Burial will follow at Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
