Obituary of Timothy S. Junta

Timothy S. Junta was 56 when he passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 11th, 2020 in Ramsey, NJ. He was born on March 22nd, 1964 to Grace and Prescott Junta in Suffern, NY. He grew up in Ramsey, NJ and graduated from Don Bosco Prep. After his graduation he attended Central Connecticut State University and was a graduate of Ramapo College earning a bachelors in psychology. He worked at Good Samaritan Hospital where he met the love of his life and future wife, Sandra. They were married on May 14 in 1988. After residing in Bouville, NY for 10 years, Tim and Sandra returned to Ramsey to start their family. In March of 1999 they adopted their daughter, Erin. Growing up he vacationed annually in Vermont with his family where he enjoyed taking the family boat out on Lake Champlain where he would fish with his father. His life was filled with love, laughter, loud singing, and the best of company. Tim is predeceased by his mother, Grace Junta and his father, Prescott Junta. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandra and his daughter, Erin. As well as several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Because of current social distancing restrictions there will be a small, private gathering on Sunday, June 14th, 2020 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home for visitation purposes. On Monday, June 15th, 2020 there will be a funeral mass starting at 11a.m. at St. Paul’s Church 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446.
