Obituary of William C. Luyke

William (Bill) C. Luyke, age 78 Of Indian Lake, NY formally of Stanhope and Parsippany passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Born in Paterson, raised in Garfield, Bill was a self-Employed Embroidery Designer before retiring and moving to Indian Lake. After moving to Parsippany in 1969, Bill later became a member of the District 6 Fire Department where he rose through the ranks to proudly serve as Chief for many years. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara (2007) and his precious daughter Suzanne (2000), loving father of Bill Luyke and his wife Katarina, Kim Luyke and her wife Madelene, cherished grandfather to Billy, Keri and Mia and dear brother to Joy (Toni) Billetz and her husband Robert and treasured niece Dawn. Bill also leaves behind many dear, life-long friends. Bill enjoyed snowmobiling through upstate NY and spending time with Willie, his four-legged buddy.
