Obituary of Adrienne Joan Phillips

Adrienne Joan Philllip’s passed away peacefully on April 29, 2020 at her home from pancreatic cancer. “A” is survived by her devoted husband, Gary, and their three beautiful children, Mikaela (17), Kendra (15), and Robert (12). Born on June 28, 1966 in New York City. She was the daughter of Paul and Elaine MacLellan of Mahwah, NJ; sister of Christine Yeomans and her husband, Tom; sister in law to Alexis Phillips and Debra Garret and her husband Cameron; Doting Aunt to Paul and William Yeomans; and McKenzie and Curtis Castro; loving cousin to many; and devoted friend to anyone who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Adrienne grew up in Washington Twp, NJ and moved to Wyckoff where she was raising her family as an active and valued member of the Wyckoff community. She was co-owner of Phillips Construction, team mom to various sports clubs, and always the first person to help out anyone in need near or far. Traveling and tending to family and friends were Adrienne’s passions and delights. She was an inspiration to all with her larger than life presence and touch. Her “just do it” attitude and vivacious personality was evidenced in all facets of her being. Adrienne especially loved her role as Mom, and was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. We would like to thank friends, family and community for their overwhelming generosity and support to our family during this time. Due to the current, challenging environment, services for Adrienne have been postponed to a later date, and will be held at Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff when permitted. Thank you again to all family and friends that have reached out to touch our hearts.
