Anthony Panariello, Jr.

Obituary of Anthony Panariello, Jr.

Anthony Panariello Jr., 48, of Oakland, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York Anthony worked for many years as an all around helper at United Cerebral Palsy in Brooklyn. Though he had many jobs there, his favorite was helping feed the clients that were unable to feed themselves. Although they may have only received half their meal, they loved him as much as he loved helping them. He enjoyed going to Camp Wilton every summer where he made many lifelong friends. A fan of the Yankees and the Giants, Anthony was the biggest fan of everyone that came into his life. He would root for you and love you unconditionally. If you came into his life and you gave him your phone number you probably received endless phone calls, some at ungodly hours. Anthony loved talking on the phone, trying to sing songs he didn’t know the words to, dancing his butt off, sleepovers, racing into pajamas, Church, Nintendo, baseball hats, scratch offs, coloring, board games, puzzles, The Beach Boys and swimming, but there was nothing he loved more than his family. Anthony is survived by his father Anthony, mother Annette, sister Maryann and her husband Ken, his nieces Nicole, Michelle, Christina and her husband Jason, his great-nieces Toula and Jade and his great-nephew Maxon. He will be missed and in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers we request that any donations are made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Prader-Willi Syndrome (www.pwsausa.org/donate-greatest-need/), and Smile Train.
