Al Esposito was a positive presence in the National accounting office of Thomas Cook Travel in East Rutherford, NJ. He worked in the “Document Control” department. I started in the ARC department, but fortunately I was able to transfer to Document Control. I will always remember Al as the eternal bachelor, and also as a person who (by his own admission) “didn’t know how to boil water”. He kind & calm to all. As a single man who couldn’t cook, he found restaurants who had specials every day of the week. I remember him saying “Tonight, Ginger takes care of me”. He took care of me as well. He invited me to share Easter dinner with him at a restaurant in Fort Lee. I arrived an hour late because it was “Spring Forward” & I forgot to set my clock forward. I threw on my clothes & raced to the restaurant. There he was, drinking his customary dessert, a glass of soda. He had waited for me, forgave me & wished me a Happy Easter. May he Rest In Peace. My sympathies to his family, loved ones, & friends.
Sincerely Alan McSpiritt

May our gentle, caring and loving cousin Rest In Peace. His quiet, yet definite presence in our lives will be fondly remembered.
Allie-boy, as the family called him, was always ready to listen first before voicing his opinions. He enjoyed boasting about his frugal ways, sometimes delighting in the harsh reprimands of relatives about his extreme lack or interest in worldly things. He loved watching television, a favorite pastime. Attending family celebrations, especially enjoying the scrumptious meals, he would feast joyfully on every dish. Since he lived alone and lacked cooking skills, everyone would be sure that he went home with a sampling of everything. I recall the vacation down the shore with Allie-boy and his mother, Aunt Millie and my Mom. It was before Stephanie was born. Where did the time go? So glad, I got a chance to visit him this summer. He recognized me, and Marge said it truly was one of his good days. I send my deepest condolences to Marge, who was more than a cousin to Allie, but like a sister. Thank you for being there for him and doing your very best.. Your close relationship was a blessing! And may each of us learn that everyone needs someone. George and I loved Allie and we are saddened that we cannot be there at his funeral. Please know our prayers, thoughts and spiritual support will be with you tomorrow. All our love always.
