Obituary of Catherine M Salerno

Catherine M. Salerno, age 89 of Andover died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Andover Subacute Rehabilitation Center, Andover, NJ. Catherine was born in Jersey City and had been a longtime resident of Ridgefield Park before moving to Sparta and Toms River before relocating to Andover in 2017. While a resident of Ridgefield Park, Catherine and her husband Anthony were very active in civic matters. Catherine was a homemaker, dedicating her time to raising her four sons alongside the love of her life, Anthony, whom she was predeceased by in 2005. Catherine is survived by her four sons; Anthony Salerno and his wife, Kelly of Newton, NJ; Mark Salerno of Arizona; Joseph Salerno and his wife, Kim of Wyckoff, NJ and David Salerno and his wife Lynn of St. Paul, Minnesota. Catherine is also survived by her three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Matthew and Mia Salerno. During these current times we’re facing with Covid 19, all services for Catherine will be private. Services for Catherine will be planned for a future date when family and friends can attend.
