My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I just learned of Ted's passing and immediately thought of the fond memories of our childhood. Our parents were good friends in the 1940's and 1950's. Our dads would take us hunting & target shooting on Bob's Hackettstown property & farm, fishing on the Musconetcong river and swimming at the Jersey shore.
Ted, may you rest in peace.

Dot and Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of mourning. Having first met Ted and you when I entered Sr. Antoinette Pagano's 5th grade class at OLQOP school in January 1954, and remaining a classmate with Ted through BC, and housemate during our freshmen year at Iona, before transferring to Villanova, my memories are always positive when thinking of his constant smiling face, positive attitude, and a true friendliness to all. Our paths diverged as a result of life's demands, but our common experience as Marine Corps veterans and BC alumni kept our connection constant. Attending BC functions and our emails over the last 3 years, expressing a common concern about our country's leadership, brought a new understanding of Ted, and what a good human being he truly was. He will live forever in the hearts and minds of all those who were lucky enough to have known him.

As a classmate Ted always seemed to me to be bigger than life, not only because of his height, but also the way he carried himself. I got to know Ted better in the years after we graduated because of his work with the alumni association. His commitment to BC was outstanding and inspiring. I had the pleasure of eating an outdoor lunch with him and other members of the Class of ’61 at last September’s reunion. I remember he offered me some of his sunscreen. As always, looking out for a fellow classmate.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Noble family at this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Ted with the Bergen Catholic brotherhood. I always regarded him as one of the "pillars" to the school. When he shared a story, we were all attentive, knowing that there would always be a punch line at the end of it. Rest peacefully older brother. I will miss you.

I came to know Ted as a fellow class chair for the BC Alumni Association back in 2013/2014. He was without a doubt the funniest and most respected among the group. When he spoke, it was with wisdom, sincerity, and always, always, concluded with a one-liner or quip that never failed to get a long laugh from the gallery. To the Noble Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing Ted with the BC Alumni Association. Deus Vult.

Rest in Eternal Peace, Ted. You were a good man and a good BC Crusader, too. Loyal and true--friends to all. Wishing Dorothy and the entire Noble family sincerest sympathies and condolences on their loss. May the Noble Family come to a place of peace into the future with Ted's passing. Your "brothers" from Bergen Catholic will remember you fondly and lovingly. Deus Vult.

Friend since 3rd grade right through Elementary, High School and College. I will miss seeing Ted at reunions both for Bergen Catholic and Iona College. Didn't see Ted that often, but Ted was a GIANT in my life, always there, always cheerful, a man of honesty, a man of his word. His last email to me after last Fall's reunion:
From: Ted Noble
Date: Sun, Sep 22, 2019, 6:50 AM
To: Thomas Bierman
Thanks and be well , Tom
Rest in Peace, Ted
Your friend forever, Tom Bierman
