Obituary of Lucille Meola

Meola, Lucille, 94, of Franklin Lakes, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 30^th, 2019.  She began her career as a bookkeeper for Sweetheart Soap Company before marrying her husband and making a change into a “Military Wife” supporting her husband on his travels all over the world. After her husband’s military service was complete, they settled in the West Village in NYC. In the early 90’s, they moved to the suburbs of NJ joining their children in the area.

She is survived by her loving children: Ralph Meola III and his wife Pilar of Mahwah, NJ & Lynn McDermott and her husband John of Sutter, NH. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Vanessa, Christian, Adam, and Tracey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Avery, Cameron, and Olivia. Lucille also leaves behind her sister, Carol Felton, and her niece, Amanda, and her nephew, Nathaniel. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph, in 2005.

A private memorial mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Chapel at the United States Military Academy at West Point. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucille’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 For more info, www.vpfh.com
