I just learned about Hubble.
Knew him from early years in Prospect Park and Paterson Tech.
Sad we lost touch following our 25th HS Reunion which he organized.

I have many memories of Hubie from the time I grew up till the time I joined Prospect Park fire in 2003. I remember everytime id come walking in the firehouse I hear Hey Steph I didn’t have to look to see who it was it was always Hubie first. I remember the one convo we had with one of the younger fire fighters when it was a winter call he like it’s too cold out me and Hubie both looked at each other and said to him you haven’t seen cold till you fight a fire in the freezing cold.
Hubie always made me laugh I could always go to the firehouse probably be in a bad mood and Hubie would make me laugh. He was a great guy and a man full of knowledge. He will be deeply missed.
To the family my sincere condolences. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to the family. Hubie and I became friends at an early age when it became apparent we could not out fight each other in the EC play ground on N.8st. We remained friends throughout the years, frequently disagreeing (to include which Fire Co. to join), however a handshake and a laugh was always our parting gesture. Rest gently friend.y
