I went to Albright with Darren, and all these years later I can still see his smile and hear his laugh. He always lit up a room and was friends with everyone. It was always a great day if you ran across him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, my thoughts and prayers to his family.

22 years later after graduating from Albright College and hearing Darren's name, the memories came flooding back like they were from yesterday. He was a few years ahead of me but was always so nice and generous to everyone. He always had a crowd of people around him and made each person feel special in their own way. My sympathy to his family.

Darren was an amazing person and friend. He always remembered the little things and never took life for granted. He lived every day to the fullest and made the best out of every situation, both good and bad. Darren always lit up the room, livened conversations and could make anyone laugh. His personality was second to none.
Darren never forgot a birthday or special anniversary, and more importantly, he would always call our send an email on that day wishing us a good day and asking how we were.
I am truly saddened with his parting, and am sadder for those that have never had the opportunity to meet him. Heaven is getting a true blessing. I will miss everything about him.

Darren was the center of the room, no matter the size. If Darren was around, we all wanted to be by his side. His kindness could be seen in his smile and his words were wisdom with attitude of a person who could give and take gentle ribbings. He accepted all into his circle showing respect even though we may have never earned it from him. Darren gave everyone a chance, and he showed us an example of how we all should be and act toward each other. He will be missed. I express my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Some of my fondest memories at DialAmerica include Darren. He was the “class clown”. Always pulling pranks or planning some hysterical scheme to make all of us laugh. He made coming to work fun. He planned many activities for our department and made sure we were all team building! I remember he planned a softball game and he and i collaborated on each persons song they would walk up to to the plate hearing. Many had significant meaning and a hidden joke behind them, but only those of us that were blessed enough to be friends with him knew what it was. I saw my first “Raw is war” with a group of Dial people and Darren planned it. What a great night! The world has truly lost a great soul. He was wonderful in every way. Love and miss you Darren. Heaven gained one of the great ones. It is rare in life to come across people like Darren. Darren was always a person who inspired everyone he met. Darren's personality was infectious and fun loving. Everyone always wanted to be around Darren and he made me a better person by challenging me to step outside my comfort zone. I think Darren figured out life and truly what it means to live each day to its fullest. I would like to remember Darren by always finding the best in people as he always could.
