From the day I met Aunt Mee Lon on joining the Yee family, I was struck by her grace and welcoming demeanor toward everyone. She had a way to touch lives that I feel inspired to emulate. She engendered admiration through her brisk energy and continued engagement and activities in the broader community. She will remain in our thoughts and fond memories as we continue on with our lives. Astrid and Irving Yee

We were saddened to learn of MeeLon s passing. She was such a fixture of the Ramsey Presbyterian Church where she volunteered in many capacities. We will always remember her love for children and her commitment to take pictures as lasting momentos for each event. Our condolences to the family.

Saddened to learn of Meelon's passing. Sincere condolences to her husband and entire family.
I assisted Meelon on the Passaic High School 1951Class reunions. She was the spark plug that made them happen. She will be missed by the entire class that appreciated her and her family's efforts.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Yee's passing. She was my 2nd grade teacher and who I consider one of my best teachers ever. She always took a personal interest in all of her students. When I was in my early 20s, I passed her on Main St. in Ramsey and she recognized me and made sure to stop and talk for a while. I wish we had more teachers like her now. RIP Mrs. Yee. You will never be forgotten.

To Dave and Judy,
Your mom was my third grade teacher, and she was my favorite ever. She made her whole class feel like they were part of something special, and she made me feel like I was special, too.
She was a wonderful person, and I will always remember her fondly. I feel lucky to have had her as a teacher, and to have gotten to know here family as well.

I was so saddened to hear this..My most fond memories are of living in Allendale, (1963-1977). Mrs. Yee was always such a sweet person and loved her students..I remember back in the Memorial Day parade, 1969, I was marching with my Cub Scout den..I saw her standing and smiling and waving..I remember vividly, yelling to her, waving. Our eyes met, and she gave a big wave..I thought that was cool, and still remember that as if it were yesterday..I was so happy to reconnect after all these years on Facebook..I'm glad I made her laugh at my post..Rest easy my sweet friend..Heaven just gained another angel..My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow..Carl Peterson 3rd grade 1969-1970.
