Susan had a huge heart for children! It was my privilege to partner with her on behalf of Lighthouse and the moms and babies we serve. I only recently learned of her passing and am sorry to have missed her memorial service. I know Susan is enjoying her rewards in heaven for a life well lived. To Larry and her beloved family, my prayers and love, as you grieve the loss of this precious woman.

Sue was the definition of love, in every meaning of the word. A true follower of Christ, she was a beautiful soul who shared so much of her love to everyone who knew her and those she only heard of. She was a comfort, a friend, a counselor. My condolences to her family, know she is with us all in spirit and will never be forgotten.

Susan and I go back to 3rd grade, when we were in brownies and Jr. choir together. At that time we shared a love of tuna fish sandwiches and NancyDrew books. Even after her family moved, we stayed in touch.
Recently Larry and Susan were at my 3 girls weddings, andSusan at their bridal showers and baby showers. Until recently, Susan and her mom, and my mom and I would meet for lunch. Always a good friend, and I will miss her dearly.

Susan was a wonderful and gracious woman and a true servant of God. I fondly remember her hosting a book club at her home in the summer. She always smiled at everyone and had a kind word to say. It was a pleasure to know her.

Susan was my oldest (65 years) and dearest friend and was always there whenever I needed her to listen, pray and comfort me throughout these many years. We went through and shared so many joys, trials and memories together and she always felt like more of a sister than just a friend. We met in Kindergarten and soon realized we both attended the same Lutheran Church, Redeemer in the Bronx. Our friendship and close relationship managed to survive moves and distance and I am going to miss her more than my words can express. I was lucky (Blessed) that I got to see her last Sunday at her very best, smiling and laughing and lifting our spirits with her positive energy. We just lost an angel and the world will never be the same, but I know others are cheering her arrival as she enters her new Home. I love you, my dear friend, and will see you again at that great reunion with our Father in Heaven.

Susan was a truly remarkable person, whose joy, energy, love and zest for life was only supposed by her love for Christ. I will never forget the support she gave me and my family, through challenging times and the death of our parents. The guidance and support she provided to Lyndsey, as she progressed through her confirmation class. A life cut too short for us on Earth but who can blame the Lord for calling her home, for her place in the eternal palace. There is another star in heaven tonight. God speed Susan. Thank you for everything

Susan walked with Jesus. Her smile filled others with love. Susan’s life touched those she met. She was the “energizer bunny”. The verse, Love never fails, applies to her life. She has touched my life. Love you. Carolyn
